Training Aircraft - FlySynthesis Texan
Our training aircraft are the latest in design and are maintained to the highest possible standards. They are fully certified by the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority as well as many other aviation governing bodies around the world.
The FlySynthesis Texans require very short take-off and landing distance and have excellent gliding ability. This makes them one of the safest training aircraft today.
If you are wanting to start your PPL or CPL, you can start in a light sport aircraft with the RA-Aus.
Why? Because all your hours in RA-Aus group 1 aircraft qualify you for PPL / CPL hours. This can save you thousands in training costs.

Flight Training Costs

$185 per hr
+ $10 Fuel levy * |
Payment can be as you go or 10 hour block periods. No cheques or amex. All prices include GST.
PLEASE NOTE : Once you obtain your Pilot's certificate, you can hire our aircraft at the rates below.
Aircraft wet hire (minimum 1hr)
Wet hire for first 4 hrs
After 4 hrs - converts to dry hire. |
$135 per hr + $10 Fuel levy *
$125 per hr |
* Due to fluctuations in the fuel price, the fuel levy is subect to change.
Flight Training packages
Full time courses last for 2 weeks. (Subject to weather)

You can make a holiday of your flying as we usually do our flying in the cool of the morning and then you have the rest of the day to play.
You can:
- Take a leisurely drive around the Brisbane hinterland
- Go for a surf on the Sunshine Coast
- If fishing is your style - do some fishing in Moreton Bay
- Tour Moreton or Stradbroke Islands
- Visit the theme parks on the Gold Coast
- Visit Australia Zoo
We can organise accommodation and hire car packages as well as tours and information for your stay in the region.
